In July 2024, Starbird of CPJ launched the Peculiar Puffles Protection Program (PPPP), dedicated to ensuring protection and rights for all puffles, including the often-controversial hairless puffles. [Click here to visit the Hairless Puffle Advocacy Foundation (HPAF) and sign the petition to support bald puffles.] At PPPP, we believe that every puffle deserves love and a place to call home. However, convincing the broader penguin community is a challenging task that will require time. So, how can we help misfit and peculiar puffles find the love and comfort they deserve?

Meet the Staff

Starbird - Founder

Starbird began her original Club Penguin journey as Skyewaddler in 2011. As did many others, she thought her story was over in the great Waddle On event of 2017. But surely, her story had only begun. In 2024, Starbird found her way to the new world of Club Penguin Journey. Upon arrival, she vowed to serve the community in any and every way she could, to honor her younger self, Skyewaddler.

Today, Starbird is known as the founder of the PPPP and Starbird's Home for Peculiar Puffles, located on Peculiar Island. Starbird also runs the Polar Poet's Society, as well as an in-igloo therapy group on occasions.
